Modernize existing kitchen and primary bathroom layout
Jewel Renovations
An existing early 2000’s two-story home was in need of an update, so our clients contacted WP+ID to help reinvent it. While the bones were good, the home felt very outdated with heavy fixtures and notorious angled walls. To suit the young family of four, we opted to open-up the wet bar connected to the kitchen to allow more Northern light and maximize countertop space. We also added symmetrical windows around the newly positioned range to bring in even more light. By reorienting some of the appliances, we were able to achieve a better workflow, as well as a better view looking into the kitchen. With new full-height cabinets and a larger island, we maximized storage and prep area. Design details complete the functionality, including a custom pantry wall and a custom wine-cabinet to showcase the family’s vineyard bottles. A crisp, clean aesthetic with stained ceiling beams and gold accents adorn this kitchen.
